Statement Regarding the Chromium-6 Report

We’ve recently received inquiries about a recent report on chromium-6 and the nation’s water. The data in the report refers to proposed goals, not actual regulations, for the detection of chromium-6 in the State of California. Buffalo Water currently tests for chromium, of which chromium-6 is a subset, and we are significantly below regulated limits.

Buffalo Water is fully compliant with all regulations and the limits set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the New York State Department of Health.

The safety of our customers is our number one priority and we share any concerns raised about public health. We are investigating this data closely and remain committed to being in full compliance with all regulations. For further inquiries, please contact Buffalo Water at (716) 847-1065, or see the documentation below.
